Nintendo has an amazing library of NES games and certain titles got lost in the shuffle; Kid Icarus is one of those games. Old school gamers that grew up with a Nintendo Entertainment System probably remembered Kid Icarus, but for a long, long time Kid Icarus remained unknown. It seemed like Nintendo was only interested in reviving its Marios and Zeldas for the newer audience, but that would all change with the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Palutena wasn’t going to have this on her watch and turned Medusa into an ugly monster then banished her to the Underworld. It is in the Underworld that Medusa began to build an army of monsters to take Palutena down and rule over Angel Land. Medusa succeeded in her conquest and took the three sacred treasures and Palutena prisoner. Pit was being kept prisoner in the Underworld, and after Palutena sought out his help, Pit began his escape from the Underworld to recover the sacred treasures and save Palutena.
